I’ve been a writer since grade school, when I penned my first essay—an historical piece about my hometown in Quebec, Canada. It was a Native American history essay that earned third place and led to a television interview. From that moment on, I’ve been a storyteller.
Over the years, I’ve written everything from instructional manuals to Bible studies and parenting articles, always drawn to work that informs, encourages, and connects. When I began sharing about our foster care journey, I often heard, “I wish I had known this before!” That response eventually led me to create a series of short, under-60-second videos addressing the questions and realities many foster parents wish they had thought to ask earlier.
